West Ham interested in Raul Meireles
West Ham United are interested in acquiring the services of Fenerbahce midfielder Raul Meireles.
The Daily Mail reports that the Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen on signing a top-class midfielder in the winter transfer window, and is convinced of making a move for Meireles, given his experience of playing in the English top tier with Liverpool and Chelsea.
West Ham are also understood to be monitoring AC Milan's Antonio Nocerino, but could land Meireles at a lesser price, with the player keen on a return to the Premier League this month.
Meireles joined Fenerbahce from Chelsea in the summer of 2012.
