Chelsea to sell Fernando Torres in the summer?
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could put Spain international striker Fernando Torres on the market in the summer, as the Blues look to pursue a new striker to lead their attacking line for next season.
Fernando Torres has struggled to reproduce the form that made him a cult hero for his former club Liverpool since arriving at Stamford Bridge and has at times been made a scapegoat for Chelsea's poor form and lack of goals.
Torres is believed to be ready to return to his homeland as he seeks a fresh challenge elsewhere. Atletico Madrid, his former club, are amongst the teams interested in a move for Torres and have apparently told their first choice striker Diego Costa that he could be allowed to leave in the summer if a significant bid is made.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell the striker for a fee of around £13.5 million.
