Marco Verratti to stay at Paris St Germain
Paris St Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has decided that he will be staying put at the French Champions, despite having been repeatedly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer.
The highly rated 21-year-old has long been linked with a move to David Moyes' Man Utd side, but it appears that he is set to stay put in the French capital amidst reports of a new contract on the horizon.
Verratti is widely regarded as one of Europe's best up and coming midfield talents and the Italian international had attracted a reported £30 million offer from the Premier League champions.
However, the midfielder has effectively ended all talk of a move away after telling French reporters: "Next season I will still be in Paris, it’s not up to me but if it was my intention is to stay here.”
