Arsenal desperate to land La Liga star

Arsenal are understood to be keen on acquiring the signature of one of the best midfield talents in the La Liga during the summer.

French newspaper Le 10 Sport claims that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is eager to land the services of Real Sociedad star Antoine Griezmann in the summer, and is ready to have a transfer bidding war with the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus for the player's signature.

The North London outfit are expected to have a bid transfer kitty of around £120m, and a top-class striker will be their top priority. However, the signing of Griezmann could appeal the Gunner's faithful, as he is considered to have great potential to succeed at the biggest stage.

Arsenal would have to make a bid in the region of £25m, which triggers the release clause, in order to tempt the La Liga outfit in letting go of their star midfielder.
