Everton in pole position to sign Jack Colback?

Everton are considered favourites to land the signature of Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback in the summer, according to The Mirror.

The Toffees manager is Roberto Martinez is understood to be eager to secure the services of the Black Cats star at the end of the season, when his contract expires at the Wearside.

The Mirror claims that Merseyside club consider the talented midfielder as a potential replacement for Gareth Barry, whose loan deal from Manchester City will conclude in the summer.

Colback has been a key member for the Black Cats and has notched up 30 appearances so far this season.
