Aston Villa bid for Bendtner?

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert will make a bid to sign Arsenal striker Niklas Bendtner at the end of the season.The Denmark international had been told he no longer has a future at the Emirates Stadium and could be heading for a Premier League rival instead.

The forward had hoped to have a second chance and push for a place in the Arsenal first team but it appears that Arsene Wenger is set to let Bendtner leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
