Chelsea prepare bid for Nottingham Forrest shot-stopper

Chelsea are reportedly readying a summer transfer offer for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow, according to the Mirror.
The report claims that a host of Premier League clubs including the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have been tracking the player's performances in recent weeks.

However, the Blues look to be front-runners to secure the player's services. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho looks eager to sign up a suitable back-up for first-choice shot-stopper Petr Cech, with Thibaut Courtois currently on his third loan spell with Atletico Madrid, likely to stay away from the West London outfit next year.

The 23-year-old has been ever-present for Forest this season, having kept 11 clean sheets in 39 appearances in the Championship so far.
