Man Utd confident of signing Luke Shaw

Manchester United are apparently considered favourites to land the signature of talented Southampton left-back Luke Shaw this summer.

The 18-year-old has been strongly associated with a switch to one of the top clubs in the Premier League in recent months, following his excellent form for the Saints throughout the current campaign.

 

According to The Daily Mail, the Red Devils manager David Moyes believes that he would be able persuade Shaw to be one of their first recruits for the summer, with the club expected to offload as many as ten players at the end of the season, with the likes of Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand likely to lead the Old Trafford clearout.

Shaw is considered as a contender for a place in the England squad for this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.
