Tottenham Hotspur tracking Jay Rodriguez?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring the progress of injured Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez, according to The Daily Mail.
The Saints forward was ruled out for the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament earlier this month.
The Daily Mail claims that Spurs are interested in signing up the former Burnley star, despite the fact that he would miss the start of next season.
However, Spurs could face tough competition from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, who are all believed to be pondering over a move for the talented striker in the summer depending on his injury recovery.
