Real Madrid want Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny
La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a summer bid for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, according to Fichajes.net.
The report claims that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is a huge admirer of the Frenchman's talented and is keen on signing him up this summer, with the futures of Pepe and Raphael Varane in doubt beyond the current season.
Koscielny has established himself as a fan favourite at the North London club, and is considered as one of the best centre-backs in Europe at the moment.
Arsenal will no doubt want to hold onto their star player, with the club in a good financial position. However, reports suggest that Gunners would be open to a player-plus-cash deal for the French international, should the La Liga outfit offer Varane in return.
Koscielny has made over 160 appearances for the Gunners so far.
