PSG plot £35m bid for Wayne Rooney

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly pondering over a summer bid for Manchester United star striker Wayne Rooney, according to The Mail.

The England international is understood to be unhappy over the club's pursuit of Louis Van Gaal, who is expected to give the leadership duties to Robin van Persie.

 

The Daily Mail claims that Les Parisiens will offer an escape route to the 28-year-old this summer, by making a bid in the region of £35m for his services.

 

Rooney has bagged 19 goals for United in all competitions this season.
