Everton join race for Spurs winger

Everton are set to battle it out with Newcastle United for the services of Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend this summer.

The talented winger was in good form for the North London club in the recently concluded Premier League season, and his chances of making it to the England World Cup squad were dented following an ankle injury sustained last month.

 

According to the Mirror, the Toffees are set to renew their interest in the England international this summer, with the 22-year-old likely to be sold on arrival of a new manager at White Hart Lane.

 

Everton are also interested Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy.
