Steve Sidwell on Newcastle radar?
Steve Sidwell has emerged as a shock target for Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew. Sidwell has told his agent that he wants to leave Fulham as he has no interest in helping Fulham bounce back into the Premier League next year.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who has enjoyed spells with Reading, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Fulham, was one of the bright sparks of a disappointing campaign for the Cottagers.
Sidwell has also attracted the interest of his former club Aston Villa as well as Stoke City. The midfielder scored 8 goals in 38 games for the Cottagers last campaign.
