Arsenal, Liverpool interested in Jordan Obita

Premier League duo of Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Reading defender Jordan Obita in the upcoming transfer window.

The England Under-21 international had been one of the bright spots for the Royals in the Championship this season, and their failure to earn promotion to the English top tier could force the talented left-back into seeking a move to a top club elsewhere.

 

According to The Mirror, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keeping a keen eye on the left-back as he aims to beef up the club's defence on their return to Champions League football next season.

 

On the other hand, Arsenal have also sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action in recent months, and could well make a bid of their own for the talented defender.
