Demba Ba linked with Besiktas switch

Turkish outfit Besiktas are eyeing a summer move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba, according to The People.

The talented Senegalese international has been on the fringes of the first-team since the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho last summer.

However, his situation with the West London giants seems to have changed at the back end of the season, with the Portuguese boss offering him sufficient game-time to impress, due to the likes of Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o being off-colour with their performances.

Ba has recently revealed that he would stay for at least another year at Stamford Bridge following a request from Mourinho.
