Chelsea to trigger Filipe Luis' release clause
Chelsea are reportedly set to make a mega-offer to sign Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis this summer, according to Spanish source AS.
The talented left-back is regarded as a top-class player in Europe, in spite of having not travelled with the Brazilian national side for the World Cup.
According to AS, the Blues will trigger the 28-year-old's release clause of £37m in the summer, as they prepare for life after Ashley Cole.
Atletico, who won their first La Liga title in 18 years, will not sanction the sale of their star defender unless a club matches the player's release clause.
