Chelsea to open talks for Cesc Fabregas

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is set to frustrate many Arsenal fans and make a move for Barcelona's midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The former Gunner has been told he can leave the Camp Nou.

Fabregas has enjoyed a mixed three years since he returned to the Catalan side; with Atletico Madrid pipping Barcelona to the title on the final day of last season.

Cesc has always hinted he would one day like to return to England and it is understood that Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is not currently looking to sign another midfielder.

Chelsea have parted company with Frank Lampard yesterday and are believed to be in the market for a new addition to their midfield ranks.
