Chelsea agree terms with former Gunner Cesc Fabregas
Chelsea have reportedly agreed on a deal to sign Barcelona midfield star Cesc Fabregas, according to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The Blues have made the swift move for the former Arsenal man, following the departure of legendary midfield Frank Lampard on a free transfer.
The report claims that the West London outfit have sealed an agreement with Barca over the transfer, with the only hindrance being the £29.2m fee demanded by the Catalan giants.
It is understood that Fabregas was initially keen on rejoining Arsenal, but has now chosen to remain in London with Chelsea, following lack of interest from Arsene Wenger's side.
Manchester United and Liverpool have also shown interest in the Spain international in recent weeks.
