Stoke City agree deal to sign Steve Sidwell
Stoke City have completed the signing of former Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell on a free transfer, according to Chief Executive Tony Scholes.
The 31-year-old, who was recently released by Fulham following their relegation from the Premier League, signed a two-year contract with the Potters and will officially join them when the transfer window reopens on July 1.
Tony Scholes confirmed the transfer on the club's official website; "Steve was much in demand following his release by Fulham and we are delighted to have won the race to secure his signature,"
"Mark Hughes signed him for Fulham and from talking to Steve I know how much he's looking forward to working with him again."
