Liverpool to sign Alexis Sanchez?

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a summer offer to sign Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez, according to a report.

The Chilean international, who had a great season at the Catalan giants, is believed to have attracted interest from a host of clubs in Europe.

According to Metro, the Reds scouts were impressed by the Alexis' performance during Chile's 3-1 win over Australia on Friday night, where he scored a goal and set up another for his country.

It is understood that the Merseyside giants would make a bid in the region of £27m for the former Udinese man, with manager Brendan Rodgers keen on strengthening the club's attacking department, as they embark on European football next season.
