Thierry Henry heaps praise on 'great' Joel Campbell
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is hopeful that Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell will get his chance to feature for the Gunners next season.
The talented youngster joined the North London outfit from Deportivo Saprissa in the summer of 2011, but has since failed to make an appearance for the club due to work permit issues.
Having impressed during his time on loan with Olympiakos last season, as well as in this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil, Henry feels the time is right for Arsene Wenger to give him a run in the first-team.
"Joel Campbell is a great player. He can pass the ball well and smells the goal," Henry said. "We are all waiting to see him in an Arsenal shirt. Hopefully he will be a player Arsene Wenger likes because I would love to see him play for Arsenal."
Campbell scored the opener during his country's 3-1 win over Uruguay at the World Cup.
