Arsenal join Liverpool in race for Federico Fazio

Sevilla defender is wanted by Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal.

The defender still has four years left in his contract for the La-Liga side and his value is predicted to be around £5.28million but Sevilla will not do business less than £8million.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may also tempted to sell Thomas Vermaelen to Manchester united with Fazio considered as his potential replacement.

The 6ft 7in defender is also revered for his positioning and prolificacy when it comes to clearing the ball in the box.
