Kaka leaves AC Milan

Brazilian star Kaka, has confirmed that he is moving to Sao Paulo on loan before joining Major League Soccer Orlando City, which is a new club in the league and will begin their campaign in 2015.

Kaka exercised a get-out clause in his Milan deal after Milan failed to qualify for European football next season with failure to qualify in both Champions League as well as Europa League. He still had a year left in his contract when he re-joined AC Milan from Real Madrid.

Sao Paulo is where Kaka began his youth and professional career before moving on to Milan in 2003. He is expected to join Orlando City in spring 2015 when Orlando City are expected to start their MLS campaign.

Milan's official statement read: "Certain loves never end, they go in big circles when a contract is mutually terminated"

Kaka has also announced that he will never wear number 22 again, the number he wore at Milan.

He has scored 104 goals in 307 appearances for the Rossoneri and returned to Milan last season on a free transfer from Real Madrid.
