Michu to make move to Atletico Madrid?

Swansea City forward Michu is amongst a group of three players being considered by Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone to replace Diego Costa as the La Liga Champions' first choice striker.

Diego Costa made a 40 million Euro transfer to Chelsea just yesterday and Atletico are scouring Europe to find a suitable replacement for the Spain international.

Atletico had been linked with a move for Fernando Torres but are instead now believed to have made Michu their preferred target. The Swansea City man's future has been in some doubt for over six months as Wilfried Bony has now firmly forced his way into the Welsh club's first team side and as their main striker.

Michu could make a move to Atletico in the coming weeks and it is understood Atletico are ready to pay the full 18 million Euro valuation for the player.
