Esteban Cambiasso to join Tottenham

Argentinian defensive midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is on the verge of becoming Tottenham's newest signing, as the player closes in on a free transfer move to White Hart Lane.

Having been released from his Inter Milan contract, Cambiasso has been looking for his next career move and has reportedly decided to move to the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham's manager, is close friends with Cambiasso and the 33-year-old is looking for one last challenge before calling time on his career.
