Mandzukic to Atletico Madrid?

La Liga side Atletico Madrid are reportedly planning a mega money bid for Bayern Munich's striker Mario Mandzukic.

The Los Colchoneros were reportedly in pursuit of Manchester City's striker Alvaro Negredo but after Negredo revealed about his intention to remain in the Premier League, they have switched their focus to Croat Mandzukic.

After the departure of Diego Costa to Chelsea for £32 million, Atletico is desperate to sign a good striker. The Champions League finalist and La Liga winners had bid for Negredo who also wants to move out of Manchester City as he was unhappy with less chances given to him towards the end of last season after starting regularly at the beginning of the season, but Negredo is not interested in the move.

Tottenham Hotspur has also bid for City's striker Negredo.

After the arrival of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund, Mandzukic will get less chances to start for Munich and so he is trying to move away from the Munich side.

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Vfl Wolfsburg are also reportedly chasing the Croat and it will be left to Mandzukic to decide which club he chooses.
