Crystal Palace to move for Cedric Bakambu?
Crystal Palace coach Tony Pulis has been checking in on Sochaux's young forward Cedric Bakambu. The 6 foot forward has already been tracked by other Premier League teams, with Leicester City and Sunderland also apparently interested parties.
Bakambu has an impressive record in Sochaux, with the 23-year-old scoring 18 goals in 90 games for the Ligue 1 side. Bakambu has enjoyed some game time playing for the French international youth sides, representing the under 18's, 19's and 20's. Bakambu is hoping a move to England will improve his chances of full international recognition.
Tony Pulis is said to have told his chairman and board of directors that he wants to bring in at least five new faces, and the acquisition of a forward is his top priority.
Sochaux value Cedric Bakambu at approximately 3.25 million euros.
