Chelsea sign Barcelona starlet

Chelsea have completed the signing of highly-rated youngster Josi Quintero from Barcelona, according to the player's Twitter page.

The 17-year-old, who spent his earlier career in the famous La Masia academy is considered to have great potential to succeed at the biggest stage in years to come.

The attacking midfielder dubbed as the 'new Antonio Valencia' had attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Lyon in recent weeks. However, it is now confirmed that Ecuadorian has signed a contract with the West London club.

Quintero was on the bench during Chelsea Under-21's match against Sutton United yesterday.
