Fabio Borini to remain at Liverpool

Liverpool could well stick with striker Fabio Borini for the next season, having seen a deal for Loic Remy put off.
The Reds had been considered favourites to land the services of French international Remy from Queens Park Rangers this summer. However, a disagreement between the player and the club has put the deal dead in the water.
A report from The Mirror now claims that the Merseysiders are ready to make a shock move and keep Borini at the club for the upcoming season.
The former Roma and Chelsea forward had been linked with a permanent switch to Sunderland, following an excellent campaign for the Wearside club on loan last season.
