Sunderland want Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli on loan

Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli is wanted by Sunderland manager Gus Poyet on loan. The Moroccan international has so far struggled to produce the form that made him one of the Eredvisie's most feared attackers.

Chadli arrived at White Hart Lane with a blossoming reputation but has failed to reproduce the same form that made him a hero at his former club FC Twente. Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is busy evaluating his squad for the upcoming campaign and according to reports on Monday morning, Chadli is not expected to play regular first team football.

Sunderland have already made an enquiry for Chadli and are hopeful that they can agree a loan switch for the skillful attacker before the start of the Premier League season on Saturday.
