Arsenal could be set to reignite their interest in Real Madrid midfield sensation Sami Khedira, according to a report.

The Gunners have been constantly linked with a move for the World Cup winner over the past month, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on bolstering his midfield setup for the new season.

According to The Mirror, the European Champions are now keen on offloading the German international to the Emirates for a fee of just £8m before the transfer deadline.

It is understood that Los Blancos are eager to sell their star asset this summer, rather than lose him on a free next season.
