Liverpool open transfer talks for Mario Balotelli
Liverpool have opened discussions with AC Milan regarding a transfer move for Italian striker Mario Balotelli. The former Man City man is apparently eager for a return to the Premier League.
Balotelli, whose career in England with City previously was shrouded in controversy, is reportedly set for a shock return back to England with Liverpool.
Despite reports that Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers has other targets in mind, the board at Anfield are desperate to bring Balotelli to the club as a long term replacement for Luis Suarez.
The 24-year-old is valued at around 25 million euros and told his agent that he dreams of a return to England where he feels he has unfinished business.
The Italian international currently has three years remaining on his AC Milan contract.
