Hull City have third bid rejected for Jordan Rhodes
Hull City have third bid rejected for Jordan Rhodes
Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes is still being tracked by Hull City manager Steve Bruce. The Tigers are seeking a replacement for Shane Long, who joined Southampton two weeks ago.
Rhodes has been in inspirational form at the Championship club in recent seasons and is known to be looking for a move to the Premier League before the transfer window closes. Despite good form, Rhodes has only so far attracted the interest of Hull City, who had bids of £8 million and £9 million turned down.
Yesterday Hull City made a third bid of £10 million which has also been rejected by Rovers. It is understood that Blackburn want to keep Rhodes for the 2014/15 season. Blackburn's head of communciation Alan Myers last week told reporters: "We have recently received two official bids for the services of Jordan Rhodes from Hull City FC, both have been respectfully and categorically rejected."
