Chelsea closing in on star striker

Chelsea are reportedly inching closer to the signing of Roma striker Mattia Destro, according to a report.

The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be eager to sign a top-class striker before the transfer deadline, with reports claiming that Fernando Torres could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Agent Claudio Vigorelli has revealed that Destro is the subject of interest at both Chelsea and AC Milan.

"I cannot deny he is at the centre of some important situations that could develop. More Milan or Chelsea? The market is unpredictable. These are two interested clubs. Jose Mourinho admires him, while Milan could make some important steps forward very soon.” He said.
