Bayern Munich seal deal for Mehdi Benatia

Bayern Munich have completed a transfer for defender Mehdi Benatia from AS Roma. The Moroccan international had been linked with a transfer to Man Utd but instead decided to move to the Bundesliga.

It is understood that Bayern have spent a reported 32 million euros to secure a deal for the centre back and that Benatia will be available for this weekend's Bundesliga game.

The 27-year-old completed a medical this morning and signed a five year contract at the Allianz Arena.
