Chelsea plot swoop for French striker

Chelsea are reportedly set to make an offer for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, according to Goal.com

The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on signing up a new forward before the conclusion of the transfer window, with Fernando Torres set to join AC Milan on a two-year loan.

Goal.com suggests that the West London outfit could opt for the French international, after a move for Roma star Mattia Destro proved too expensive.
