QPR bid for Fabio Borini accepted
Queens Park Rangers have had a bid for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini accepted. The Italian striker will be heading for London to discuss personal terms this afternoon.
Sunderland had been desperate to sign Borini before the end of the transfer window but it appears that QPR are set to win the race for the player, after Harry Redknapp's bid of £10 million was accepted.
The Italian striker will sign a four year contract with the London side.
The news is sure to frustrate Gus Poyet, who had hoped to seal a deal for Borini before the transfer window closed.
