Man Utd to offer Juan Mata in Strootman deal?

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly willing to offer midfielder Juan Mata as part of the deal to bring Kevin Strootman to Old Trafford in January.

Mata is believed to be disillusioned with life at the Red Devils, and could be open to a winter exit from the club.

According to The People, the former Netherlands boss is a huge fan of Strootman, and is not deterred by the Serie A club's unwillingness to sell the player.

In addition to this, the Red Devils could offer former Chelsea star Juan Mata as a makeweight to sign Strootman, should Roma exit the Champions League come the winter transfer window.
