Daniel Sturridge to sign new five-year deal at Liverpool

England international Daniel Sturridge is ready to ink a new long-term deal at Liverpool, according to Liverpool Echo.
Sturridge is currently recovering from a thigh injury which he sustained on international duty with the national side last month.
The report claims that the talented striker is expected to be rewarded with fresh terms in a new five-year deal, following his incredible form for the Reds last season, where they finished runners-up to Manchester City in the Premier League.
In addition to this, the new contract will involve an improved wage structure of £100,000 per week.
Liverpool lost 1-0 to Basel in the Champions League group stage encounter on Wednesday night.
