15 point penalty for Leeds

Leeds United will be playing in League 1 with a 15 point penalty. Leeds United had been at risk of being removed from the football league and chairman Ken Bates was delighted with the outcome of the verdict.

Leeds United have announced that they will be appealing the verdict. After receiving their Football League share they are now able to continue to play in the league.
