Spurs boss wants reunion with former player
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly placed Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez as one of his top targets ahead of the winter transfer window.
Pochettino was believed to be keen on signing up the England international over the summer, despite the 25-year-old being out with a serious knee injury.
According to The Mirror, Spurs are looking at the player's recovery progress, and could make a move for the striker in the upcoming transfer window, with the club in need of a genuine goal scorer.
Rodriguez scored 17 goals for the Saints in all competitions last season.
