Roma prepare January offer for Chelsea Star

AS Roma are reportedly preparing a bid of around £7m to secure the services of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

The Czech international has been forced to play as an understudy this season due to the excellent form of Thibaut Courtois.

Roma and Paris Saint-Germain have been speculated to be interested in the player's signature in recent weeks.

According to The Mail, Roma will make an initial bid for the talented shot-stopper in the upcoming transfer window, but Paris Saint-Germain are likely to offer stiff competition in the pursuit for the former Rennes star.
