Arsenal want Edinson Cavani

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani in January.

The Uruguayan international is understood to be frustrated at Les Parisiens having been forced to play out wide by manager Laurent Blanc in order to compensate Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the centre-forward role.

According to Fichajes.net, the 27-year-old is open to a switch away from the French champions in the upcoming transfer window with the Gunners considered favourites to secure his services.

Cavani has scored 11 goals in 19 games for Les Parisiens this season.
