West Ham up bid for Javi Fuego
West Ham have made an improved offer for Valencia midfielder Javi Fuego. Sam Allardyce has sent his chief scout to catch the taelnted midfielder in action this week.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has impressed for Los Che this season and the Hammers are apparently interested in signing Fuego on a 3.5 million euro deal. Since his arrival at Valencia from Rayo Vallecano in 2013, Fuego has firmly enforced his club's midfield.
With concerns over the long term future of loan star Alex Song at Upton Park, it is understood that Sam Allardyce is already looking for a replacement for the Cameroonian star. Fuego has enjoyed spells playing for Levante, Recreativo and Vallecano before his move to Valencia.
