Lukas Podolski close to Inter Milan switch

Arsenal's out-of-favour striker Lukas Podolski looks set to join Inter Milan on a six-month loan deal, according to a report.

The German international, who has been a fringe player at the Gunners this season, recently revealed of his desire to seek a fresh challenge away from the Emirates.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, representatives from Inter will travel to the Capital to discuss the potential loan transfer for the German star.

Podolski has yet to start a league game for the club this season.
