Arsenal star fuels exit talks
Arsenal's out-of-favour striker Lukas Podolski has insisted that he could be forced to leave the Emirates in the New Year.
The German international has failed to start a single league game for the Gunners this season, with manager Arsene Wenger preferring the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Oliver Giroud ahead of him in the pecking order.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had recently revealed that the World Cup winner would remain at the club beyond the January transfer window.
However, Podolski was quoted saying to FcInterNewsit that he needs a clarification on his role at the North London outfit with the transfer window close approaching.
"I'll talk to Arsenal. I need to know their intentions. Wenger is not blind, he sees what I can give," He said.
Podolski could start at West Ham United on Sunday following a three-match ban to Oliver Giroud.
