Emmanuel Adebayor set for MLS move

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be heading for a move to the United States. Spurs have told Adebayor he is surplus to requirements.

The impressive form of Harry Kane has seen Adebayor slip to third choice striker and the Togo international will now seek a move elsewhere. The MLS have already lured the likes of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard in recent months and are now expected to add Adebayor to their ever improving talent roster. Adebayor almost joined Turkish side Besiktas last summer.
