Wolfsburg to bid for Chelsea star

Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are reportedly readying an offer for Chelsea striker Andre Schurrle, according to The Mail.

The German international has made most of his appearances off the bench for the Blues this season, with manager Jose Mourinho favouring the likes of Didier Drogba, Diego Costa, Loic Remy ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Mail report that Wolfsburg will make a tempting bid in the region of £23m to secure the services of the German striker in the current transfer window.

Schurrle has started just five league games for the Blues this season.
