Man City agree fee for Wilfried Bony
Manchester City have agreed a £30m transfer fee with Swansea City for striker Wilfried Bony. The Ivory Coast international will discuss terms with the Citizens on Monday afternoon.
The 26-year-old has proved to be an exceptional striker since arriving at the Swans in 2013 from Vitesse Arnhem and will now continue his development at the Premier League champions. It is understood that Man City coach Manuel Pellegrini could be forced to sell a striker to accommodate the arrival of Bony.
Bony is currently preparing for the African Cup of Nations alongside Yaya Toure, who will be his new club team mate. Bony has scored 9 goals in 20 league games this season and has scored 34 goals in total since arriving at the Welsh club.
