Papiss Cisse heading to Crystal Palace?

Papiss Cisse is a shock target for Premier League side Crystal Palace. The Senegalese international is wanted by his former coach at Newcastle and recently appointed Palace coach, Alan Pardew.

Cisse has struggled for regular first team action at Newcastle this season, which means that the Eagles' reported interest is somewhat ironic as former coach Alan Pardew favoured other frontmen as opposed to Cisse. The player has 18 months remaining on his contract at St James' Park and will be given a chance to oust newly arrived loan forward Yaya Sanogo from the Palace first XI.
